I live with chronic illness, including migraine, fibromyalgia, and interstitial cystitis, which means I spend more time in the waiting room than I’d like. The time I wait though affords me the opportunity to read, think, and write. I will focus this blog on reviewing the books I have read while waiting. For background, I am a graduate of Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. I received my bachelor of arts (1994) and master of arts (1998) in English Literature and Language as well as teaching credentials in 7-12 English after completing the master of arts in teaching program (1998). I have taught entry level university English classes. I also worked as a public affairs specialist at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, from 1999-2009.
